The girls have been so anxious for a real snow, a snow to sled on, a snow to play in, and to build a snowman. We have a great hill in our backyard- it's not too big, but big enough to get some good speed.
Pictures are blurry because I didn't want to put on my snow boots and actually go out in the snow to take pictures:)
Baylee's little friend next door came to sled also.
Ashlee found out I had already shoveled twice this day- and instead of playing in the snow she decided to shovel the driveway for me.
The snow and cold isn't as bad as I thought it would be. We just bundle up before we go out, everyone has snow clothes and boots. We have a mudroom to remove layers- and it really isn't too bad. What is really annoying is the snow melt off the car in the garage! Oh my goodness- it drives me crazy! There's nothing you can do about it, and when it melts it leaves huge puddles and mud surrounding the car. We shovel, sweep, and now we have heard buying a giant squeegee is an awesome way to get the mess out. It's now on our list to buy- hopefully it works!
Carly had a recorder concert. Third graders start with recorders and in 4th grade they start band or orchestra. Carly was so excited to play in her concert. She did a great job!
Love you Carlybug!
