Grandma Wiser Visits

Darrell's mom came to visit us- it was so fun to show her around even though we were still trying to figure out where things were!

We went to our first ever corn maze and loved it. Lexi and Ashlee went with Grandma, and Darrell and I kept Carly and Baylee. There were zombie movie trivia's through out the maze and if you got them correct there was a prize at the end.

One of the zombie posters was missing and in the end we had to give up, we think someone hid it in the corn maze somewhere- but the girls all still got a prize.

Grandma went to Mall of America with us, we got a treat and left pretty quickly because it was crazy crowded. We also watched General Conference with her and she helped the girls pay better attention so they could get a treat when a certain word was said. She was able to watch Ashlee's soccer game, and was here when Lexi tried out for the high school softball team.
We loved having her here and can't wait for her to come back again!

Ashlee and Baylee's Soccer

Ashlee and Baylee had so much fun with soccer this Fall.

Ashlee's coaches were very impressed with her and every single game they would comment to Darrell and I what a great athlete she was. They weren't just talking about soccer skills, but what a team player she was. If her coach asked her to do anything she always said ok, never argued. She isn't a ball hog- she passes to her teammates and encourages them to keep going. One thing we've learned with Ashlee is if she starts something she gives 110%, she goes full force and does her best to learn the game and play her hardest.
At the end of the season her coaches told us she needed to move to a competitive team for Spring. Her team didn't win a lot of games, but they had a lot of fun and each learned so much!

Baylee loved her soccer team, her opponents, her coaches, and everyone's coats, hair bows, socks... She loved everything about soccer! It was fun to watch her play in her games, she was focused most of the time unless someone had a pretty bow, she'd chase them down to tell them. She learned a lot from her coach, and absolutely loved playing!

I had to add this last picture. This ball hit her right in the face and she just kept right on going!
